Booking a regular cleaning visit couldn’t be easier, all you need to do is give your local manager a call, or fill in the form above, and we’ll get straight back.
Before we get you booked in, we always like to have a quick chat via email or phone, just to go through your requirements, and answer any queries. Once we’ve been in touch, and know your preferred day and time, we’ll schedule you in with your dedicated cleaner.
In terms of access arrangements, we’re obviously fully insured to hold keys, should this be a requirement. If you have pets then let us know their routine, and whether or not they’re allowed out, or shouldn’t go in certain rooms etc. (all our cleaners are pet friendly).
What can I expect to be done during my weekly or fortnightly clean?
This is where you can be as detailed or general as you like. However, during the course of a typical 2-4 hour visit for example, your dedicated cleaner will focus on key areas of kitchens, bathrooms and main living areas, i.e. the most heavily used places in your home.
We can obviously stack/unstack dishwashers, clean up crockery and put away, though tidying (which is absolutely no problem to do) can eat into time spent actually cleaning.

On a rotational basis we can of course do a much deeper clean, involving skirting boards, windows, light fittings, panel work to doors, cupboards, fridges and much more. We can chat about this if you’d like to have this done every once in a while.
We can also carry out any other domestic tasks you’d like on a routine basis, from ironing to changing linen.
Where does Cleanily operate in York?
Like most busy towns and cities, we tend to have the best availability in central locations, which in York tends to be either side of the River Ouse for a few miles outside the castle walls. Obviously there are areas on the outskirts of York and Harrogate that are quite rural, and scheduling in cleans for these locations can occasionally take a little longer, though locations like Haxby, Middlethorpe, Heslington and Fulford, central areas and Pannal can be quickly booked.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
Like everything with Cleanily, we make payments a breeze. Once you’re booked in you’ll receive an email with a link to set up your account. Once this is done, for any week in which you have a clean, we’ll process an automatic payment, and send you an invoice and receipt via email - its smart cleaning basically! We’re also extremely flexible, so if you ever need more or less time, no problem.
Also, if you ever need to pause or cancel your cleaning, that’s fine too. We don’t believe in tying customers into monthly contracts or charging penalties.
Who are your cleaners and how do you find them?
The people with whom we work are all experienced professionals. Many have decades of experience in various aspects of domestic cleaning, care and housekeeping. Most tend to be self-employed, as over the years we have found that cleaners who have been able to independently generate and maintain their own customers, make great cleaners. We only work with those who can provide evidence of a great track record in house cleaning - in the end, we are only as good as the cleaners we work with.
The vast majority of our cleaners either find us, or are recommended by existing cleaners. From there we vet, reference check and engage them on a trial basis. As stated, it is a requirement that they are able to demonstrate experience in either a domestic setting, or hotel housekeeping.
