What do you get with a cleaning service from Cleanily?
Fundamentally, great regular cleaning! We provide an experienced, dedicated cleaner (supported by a local cleaning manager) to each customer. We can provide two cleaners where a property is particularly large, as we do with a few homes in Lapworth and Lady Byron Lane, but knowing exactly who is at your property, we feel, is important.
In addition, this allows your allocated cleaner to establish a routine that suits your domestic needs and is easily the most cost effective solution. We’ve found that this is a considerably better arrangement than sending in a team of different cleaners every visit, who attempt to undertake the clean in the shortest possible time.
Low hourly rates
We go into a lot of detail on how we price in other parts of this site, but basically, if you are paying for your cleaning on a ‘per job’ lump sum basis, i.e. via a quote, it is extremely likely you are paying an inflated hourly rate.
Because Cleanily is a nationwide privately owned business, we do not have the overhead that a franchisee must factor in. This allows us to be completely transparent about our pricing, in that we do not need to disguise our hourly rates within a quote. We charge £13.50 per hour of cleaning.
Where do you operate
For the past 5 years we have operated throughout the Birmingham area, and as far afield as Nuneaton. The majority of customers tend to be located in Knowle, Dorridge, Lapworth, Henley in Arden, Shirley, Hockley Heath and Balsall Common. However, do get in touch if you’re a little further away.
What can I expect from a regular clean
Just let us (or your cleaner) know if there are any rooms you wouldn’t like doing as a part of your regular service. In living rooms and dining rooms etc, we would generally do a general vacuum, dust and tidy.
Laundry, ironing and rotational tasks
A lot of customers like to add a bit of ironing and/or bed changing to their clean. But really, you can be as specific or as general as you like. Most of our housekeepers have been cleaning homes for over a decade, so they can easily work to their own initiative or, you can be as prescriptive as you wish.
Pets, access and payment
Cleaners are used to pets of all shapes, sizes and temperaments, and we can quickly establish their needs over the phone - perhaps they need letting out, or there are areas they are not allowed into for example.
We are of course fully insured to hold spare keys so you can leave a spare with your cleaner, or have them post it back through your letterbox each visit.
Like everything else with Cleanily, payments are managed in an extremely flexible and straightforward way. No need to leave cash or set up direct debits, we have a simple pay as you go online payment system. Once set up, we take an automatic payment for every week in which you have a clean.
