Newcastle, or more specifically Tynemouth, is actually where Cleanily first launched many moons ago, North Tyneside is one of our busiest locations. Because we have so many cleaners constantly operating near you, it makes it simple to schedule numerous visits throughout the day. We’re often cleaning for up to half a dozen homes on the same street!

So, how does it work?

Either fill in the form at the top of this page, or, give us a quick call to discuss your requirements. We’ll have a quick chat about the sort of service you’re after - although this is usually a general clean, you can be as prescriptive as you wish. You can choose between either a fortnightly or weekly (or more) visit, whether you have a preferred day or time, and let us know about access arrangements and anything else (pet routines etc).

We allocate an experienced, vetted and insured cleaner, who is then dedicated to your household. We charge on an hourly basis because this is so much more cost effective from a customer perspective. If you’re not entirely sure how much time you need, your manager will make a suggestion, which can be either increased, decreased or capped, as required. All the cleaners with whom we work are used to providing high standards of cleaning, within a finite amount of time. Many have a hotel housekeeping past, which seems to be a great training ground for turning out consistently spotless regular cleaning service, in the shortest time possible! This means they are very quickly able to assess how much time is needed, based upon the size of house and requirements. If, following the first few cleans, it transpires that more or less time is required to achieve the ideal result, then we can adjust accordingly.

Although we will schedule your clean to be a set number of hours per week or fortnight, that’s not to say that you can’t from time to time ask for a bit more (or less) time. For example, as is often the case with large 3 storey properties in Jesmond, Gosforth and Tynemouth, not all bedrooms are used on a regular basis, and so when friends or relatives are due to stay, it’s nice to have these spruced up prior to their arrival.

How do I know how long my cleaner is actually staying for?

We run all our jobs through our custom app. What this does is confirm your cleaners start and finish GPS coordinates, meaning that an accurate recording of the amount of time at your property is always recorded.


Our payment system could be easier. No direct debits, remembering to leave cash, minimum term contracts, penalties etc. Just follow the account set up on your booking confirmation email, and once set up, for any week in which you have a clean, we’ll process an automatic payment. We’ll simultaneously send you a receipt and invoice. If you need to pause or cancel at anytime, no problem - just give us a call or log in and do it from your admin (useful for holidays).
